Little boy dies days after highway crash
A young child has died days after a crash on a major highway south of Brisbane.
Six-year-old boy traveling in Nissan station wagon Crashed with a Subaru sedan on the Mount Lindesay Highway at Gleneagle – About an hour south of the Brisbane CBD – around 2.15pm on Monday.
The man was taken from the scene of the crash to Queensland Children’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he died on Friday.
A woman in her 50s was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition, while a second adult with life-threatening injuries was taken to Logan Hospital. Both adults were deemed stable Tuesday morning.
A teenage girl was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.
