Historic Kiwi project yields high-grade gold, antimony for Siren
The Langdons project sits in a 5-kilometer window of 5-kilometer Greenland group metasiments folded to the northwest-southeast antiformation-synform couples, interpreted as a rotated cousin of geology in the company’s Reefton Goldfield project.
Siren Gold CEO Zane Padman said: “These results are extremely encouraging. We are systematically unlocking a Goldfield, which produces extraordinary notes in the past, and our work confirms that potential still exists today.”
In addition to defining an important gold mineralization, Padman said that exposure to antimony as a critical mineral adds an important strategic dimension to the project.
The historical mining in the region began in 1879 and targeted reefs such as Langdons, Victory, Liberty and Julian, and there were early reports that received surveillance notes up to 2610g/t gold and 1120g/t silver.
In 1885, a stamp battery was established in 1885 that the Langdons produced 1586 ounces of gold at an average of 60g/t gold. In 1911, an example 8.8g/t Gold and 14.1 percent antimony, Dominion laboratories in 1933 reached 89.9g/T gold and 64.1 percent antimony.
About 200 meters east of Langdons, in 1936, a drill hole caught 30g/t gold on 1m, and reflected Reefton’s Auld Creek expectation, depending on the vessels of the gold quartz-sibnit and the wall-kaya arsenopyrite.
Langdons and Victory Mines were revived after the World War II, added 60m new drivers and renewed 105m existing drivers, but operations decreased until 1952.
Siren’s August field work, supported by a $ 4 million capital increase, helps to accelerate throughout the company’s kiwi project portfolio.
The increase will finance the drilling in the Sams Creek project, about 200 km north of the Langdons, where the past intersections include past intersections, 9.5g/t from 3.62m in Kartopa Prospect and from 13.4m to 5.53g/T Gold in South-East Travers.
In addition, the company has already provided low -effective access to explore the Queen Charlotte project, which is home to the historical Entry Entry Antimony Mine in the north of Picton on Southern Island.
In Langdons, the ongoing mapping and the ditch target to identify older studies and geochemistry to connect the Langdons, midnight and freedom reefs, while other extended soil research will smell similar mineralized structures in the north of the working main area.
The company plans to integrate all mapping, sampling and soil geochemical data into a comprehensive 3D model to give priority to future exercise targets.
With the antimony of USD $ 3700 per ounce and $ 60,000 per ton, Langdons’s double metal fists can provide a serious economic influence.
For the exposure of Reefton-Hauraki, Siren seems to be set to lead the Golden Renaissance of New Zealand with 824,000 Ones Sams Creek deposit and 17 percent in Rua Gold.
When pulling back the shrub, each test should feel like opening a treasure map, Langdons’s high -graded reefs indicate a modern bonanum that is waiting to be punctured today.
