Motorists traveling in and out of Manchester this morning are facing delays as a number of incidents occur.

A map of the road network around the city shows congestion building on the M60, M62, M61, M67 and A666.

Some of the events include:

The M62 heads west between junctions J12 and J11. Collision. It is expected to be cleaned between 08:30-08:45.

Clockwise between connections M60, J26 and J27. Accident involving an overturned vehicle. It is expected to be cleared between 08:45 and 09:00.

The M62 heads west from junction J12. Blockage.

The M67 heads west between junctions J2 and J1. Blockage.

The M61 heads south between the junction and the M60. Congestion affecting the A666.
