Man dies and 4 children injured after car hits building in UK town | UK | News

A man was killed and four children were injured after a car crashed into a building in the West Midlands. The Honda Civic collided with a building on the High Street in Princes End, Tipton, just before 10.20pm on Tuesday evening, June 2.

West Midlands Police said the 48-year-old driver of the Honda Civic died at the scene.

Police said there were five other people in the vehicle, including a woman and four children, and all of them were taken to hospital for treatment. It was learned that the injured were not life-threatening.

The road, which was closed overnight, has been reopened.

A police spokesman said: “Our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is waiting to hear from anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage in the area and anyone who saw the collision should contact us.
