Man held for allegedly killing wife, two children and three others in Telangana

A 28-year-old man allegedly killed his wife, two minor children and three members of another family (an underage girl, her mother and grandmother) in Daivalaguda village of Shabad in the early hours of Saturday, July 11, 2026.

The suspect, identified as Rajkumar, was arrested by the police after he allegedly confessed to the murders to his parents, who later informed the police.

According to the police, Rajkumar was detained under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (PoCSO) Act following a complaint filed by the minor girl and her mother accusing him of harassment on May 16. He was later released on bail.

Police suspect the murders were in retaliation for the case.

The victims were the accused’s wife, Sarita, her three-year-old daughter and two-year-old son, as well as a little girl, the girl’s mother and grandmother.

A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
