MBBS Grad Found Dead In Alwal

Hyderabad: A 23-year-old MBBS graduate, identified as T. Princy alias Shreshta, was found dead at his home in Alwal on Friday evening. Police said the woman had recently completed MBBS, was preparing for postgraduate entrance exams and was in the process of applying for a medical license.
Princy lived in Risala Bazaar with his mother Kusumalatha and grandmother. According to the information provided by the police, there have been frequent arguments between mother and daughter in recent days. “The mother told us that the girl brought a pet cat home, after which she caught cold and coughed, which led to an argument,” said Alwal sub-inspector Devendra.
On Friday, Kusumalatha reportedly left for the hospital. Princy was home alone and was found dead in his bedroom when his mother returned.
The police took the body to Gandhi morgue for autopsy. A case has been registered based on Kusumalatha’s complaint and further investigation is on.
One person died by suicide in Neredmet
Police claimed that a 23-year-old man died by suicide in a room he rented in Neredmet on Friday. According to the complaint filed by the landlord, a 70-year-old retired employee residing in Sudhanagar, Elder Safilguda stated that the deceased Naresh, a private employee from Banswada in Kamareddy district, was staying in a single rented room since January and was living there with his friend Bhimesh.
At around 4pm on Friday, the complainant received a call from her neighbors informing her about the incident. He rushed home and opened the room at around 4.30 pm and found Naresh dead. Police said a suicide note was seized from a book kept in the room, stating that Varsha’s life was ended “due to lack of consent from her mother”. The deceased’s friend, Bhimesh, was reported to have gone to his native village for the Ugadi festival at that time. A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
Woman injured in knife attack in Miyapur
A 26-year-old woman from Kakinada was allegedly attacked with a knife by an old acquaintance at her home in Miyapur on Thursday, police said.
The accused, Ali Shah alias Pandu (28), had previously worked with the woman at PG hostels in Miyapur and they had developed a relationship there. The woman later married another colleague from Rajamahendravaram in January and started living with him in Reddy Colony, police said.
On Thursday, Pandu went to his father Lalu’s house accompanied by him. An argument broke out during which Pandu allegedly attacked him with a knife.
The injured woman was taken to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. Miyapur police have detained Pandu and his father and further investigation is ongoing.
Person hit by vehicle dies
A 35-year-old carpenter died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle near Nanakramguda Circle in Raidurgam on Saturday morning. According to the complaint filed by his wife, Kasi Shiva Kumar was traveling on a bicycle from Khajaguda towards Gandipet when an unidentified vehicle while taking a free left turn hit him at high speed and he died on the spot. 24-year-old pillion passenger P. Divakar, who was injured in the accident, was taken to a private hospital and treated. While the accident was recorded on the security camera, the police started an operation to catch the suspect. A case has been registered at Raidurgam police station and further investigation into the incident is on.
