Meghan Markle faces challenge as she braces for bombshell UK return | Royal | News

This marks the first time Meghan has been seen publicly in Britain in four years and the first time she has held an engagement in six years. Her last official appearance as a working royal was in March 2020, when the Sussexes attended the Commonwealth Day ceremony in London.
Since the couple is scheduled to arrive in the next few days, a public relations professional weighed in on the trip.
Renae Smith, founder of PR and branding agency atticismHe told the Daily Express: “As far as I can tell, unlike some before, this trip is definitely not about Meghan. It’s about Harry, Invictus and the work he’s spent years building.”
The PR expert added: “Could Meghan humiliate herself? Absolutely.”
“But she also has the opportunity to do something we don’t see very often here, which is to just support her husband without being part of the story.
“If I were to give her advice, my advice would be very simple: Take the Princess of Wales approach to this journey.
“Show up, support your husband, be warm, kind, and present, but don’t try to own the narrative.”
It is understood Prince Harry and his security team are working behind the scenes to ensure the visit takes place safely.
A spokesman for the Duke said: “The Duke continues to explore every option available to ensure the visit proceeds safely and to give his children the opportunity to enjoy the UK.”
