Meghan Trainor vacated her sprawling Los Angeles mansion on the same day she told fans she was canceling her upcoming tour.

The 32-year-old All About That Bass singer quietly closed the deal on Thursday for $6,835,000 after just a week on the market. TMZ.

He first purchased the luxury property from rapper Doug Jordan for $6.6 million in 2020, meaning his quick turnaround yielded only a modest profit.

The jaw-dropping property spans approximately 14,164 square feet and sits on 1.09 acres of land, boasting seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.

But lifestyle extras like the pool with waterslides, recording studio, mirror-lined gym and full-size basketball court are noteworthy.

The move comes amid a wave of personal and professional change for the pop star.

This comes after it was revealed that she had been undergoing ‘heavy therapy’ to work on her marriage to husband Daryl Sabara.

The newly sold modern property opens with a spacious motor court and a stunning main residence defined by high ceilings and bold, contemporary design.

Inside, a grand double staircase sets the tone for the bright, open-plan living and dining areas, and there’s also a chef’s kitchen clearly built for effortless indoor-outdoor entertaining.

At the time, the couple was having the house renovated by Jeff Lewis and his team between November 2014 and April 2015.

But the lavish redesign, which reportedly had a budget of over $1.5 million, was abruptly canceled when the couple ultimately pulled out of the renovation altogether.

Meanwhile, Trainor was scheduled to kick off her Get In Girl Tour on June 12 in Michigan, followed by more than 30 additional dates across North America.

But on Thursday, she took to Instagram to break the news directly to her fans.

“After much thought and some truly difficult conversations, I have made the difficult decision to cancel The Get In Girl Tour,” Trainor wrote.

“Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new daughter into our growing family of five has been more than I can handle right now,” she explained.

The singer said he now needs to focus on “being home and being there” for his loved ones.

‘I know this will be a disappointment to my fans and I’m so sorry to disappoint you.’

Trainor added that pulling the plug on summer running “was the right decision for my family and me right now.”

He also reassured supporters that he would be ‘back soon’ and promised that ‘I can’t wait for you to hear this new record.’

The star is preparing to release her seventh studio album, Toy With Me, at the end of this month, on April 24.

“I’m in heavy therapy,” the All About That Bass hitmaker said, revealing that she was working through relationship issues while recording the album.

“I was in marriage counseling while making this album,” she continued, adding that she and her husband are now so good that she recommends it to everyone.

‘But we found out that having one to five little ones pushed your marriage aside, and then you said, “Why are we fighting? We’re on the same team.”

“We started marriage counseling because we realized we were having too many petty arguments,” she continued. ‘We were living in completely different realities.’

“Even in our fights we’d say, ‘Hey, we’re not even fighting about the same thing.'”

Trainor emphasized that she and Sabara are now careful never to lie down over an argument and that communication is “key.”
