Minister Vivek Assures Support to Victim’s Families

Hyderabad: Telangana Labor Minister G Vivek Venkatswamy on Tuesday said that the state government will stand by the families of the victims in the crane collapse incident here, in which five migrant workers died and 12 others were injured. Venkatswamy, who visited the injured in the hospital, said that he wanted a report on the incident from the authorities.
Expressing sadness over the death of the five migrant laborers, he said he inquired with doctors about the health condition of the injured and the treatment being provided to them.
“I am sure that the government is committed to providing all support to the families of the victims,” the minister said in a post on site ‘X’. he said.
Five migrant workers died and 12 others were injured when a crane collapsed at the prefabricated building manufacturing plant in Shankarpally on Monday evening. The incident took place in Mahalingapuram village amid heavy wind and rain.
17 workers took shelter in the shed after the crane fell on them. The workers came from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha.
