Mis-Teeq’s reunion ‘takes a toxic turn as the iconic girlband is dogged by infighting and last-minute show changes’

The long-awaited Mis-Teeq reunion has reportedly taken a toxic turn, with sources claiming that infighting and production drama have caused chaos in the group.

Last month, fans were delighted when it was confirmed that Alesha Dixon, 47, Sabrina Washington, 47, and Su-Elise Nash, 45, would reunite for a one-off show at London’s OVO Arena to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album.

But it is now claimed that conflicts between the band’s stars have become so toxic that they spend little or no time together, even though they are due to begin rehearsals for their show later this summer.

Much of the controversy is thought to be caused by Alesha, with accusations that she is suffering from “main character syndrome” by portraying herself as the band’s new lead singer

Although the group’s performance on Britain’s Got Talent appeared to be going well, Alesha reportedly became enraged after one of the group members missed a step.

A source said: ‘He saw red when a planned BGT performance in rehearsals turned chaotic and everything changed at the last minute.’

they continued to tell Sun: ‘He made it clear what he wanted from the girls and it blew some minds.’

This situation has reportedly worsened since the group’s performance at the Capital Summertime Ball, resulting in “tensions” between the group members backstage.

The insider added: ‘All three girls are now spending time apart until rehearsals for the Wembley show begin at the end of the summer.

‘That was always the plan in terms of work commitments, but naturally they were hoping for things to go more smoothly and they could just hang out as friends. That’s not quite the case.’

Despite concerns there are thought to be no plans to pull the plug on the concert, but it is disappointing that tickets have not yet sold out.

The Daily Mail has contacted a representative of Mis-Teeq for comment.

Mis-Teeq’s return to the stage on BGT also received mixed reactions from fans who were divided on whether the performance was a victory or a failure.

It’s been more than 20 years since the iconic trio of Alesha, Sabrina and Su-Elise. He left in 2005.

But now They’re set to dazzle London with a massive ‘One Night Stand’ reunion concert on Saturday 12 September.

The night will feature the band’s greatest hits and celebrate Mis-Teeq’s sound and the cultural impact that helped define an era.

The band’s reunion will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album, Lickin’ On Both Sides.

While tickets will go on general sale on May 29 at 10:00, willing fans will also be able to register for the pre-sale, which will open on May 27 at 10:00.

The girl group, which produced the worldwide hit Scandalous, was formed in 1999.

Mis-Teeq has enjoyed major chart success, with two top ten albums and seven consecutive singles on the UK Singles Chart.

However, in 2005, the group disbanded following the closure of their record label.
