More trouble for Emmanuel Macron as another French PM resigns

Finally, Emmanuel Macron’s man could not pull him.

When Sébastien Lecornu was appointed to the prime minister of France three and a half weeks ago, it was that he was the last card of President Macron.

One last card was told, but a good card.

A 39-year-old presidency Protégé-Sadic, modest, insignificant. It was thought to have a secret agreement between the parties and to save French politics from the explosion.

But as it emerged, this was not the case.

Lecornu fell controversial in more embarrassing conditions than two malicious predecessors.

At least Michel Barnier and François Bayrou presided it for a short time on their governments and gave a few ideas.

On the other hand, Lecornu named the cabinet in the afternoon and lost it until Monday morning. He couldn’t even make the opening speech to the Parliament planned on Tuesday.

The government took exactly 14 hours.

The emergency reason of Calamitous Fin de Régime is now clear. The Conservative Republicans Party (LR) and its leaders were Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau.

With 40 or more deputies, LR has become an important part of the center -right alliance trying to rule France.

Retailleau reflects most of its existence, itself and its party as natural candidates for government offices.

On Sunday, he said he was willing to stay as a minister of Lecornu in the early hours. However, one hour after the description of the cabinet, he said that there was a heart change on social media: LR may not end up with.

Officially, Lecornu’s former Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire called the defense election.

Le Maire – a former party colleague – partially joined Macron and betrayed them and partly accused the French debt for removing the spiral of the country when he was under the control of the country’s finance.

In both cases, LR blames Le Maire of hiding his candidacy – apparently did not learn until Retailleau opened his television.

And at the end of Monday, there was a new bending. Le Maire agreed to be a minister, and Macron gave LR to the Prime Minister who went to see if he could convince LR to the government, a 48 -hour reprieve.

So, the situation remains fluent.

In any case, the deeper truth is that the more time passes, the more talented Macron Acolytes – the more difficult it will be to establish a stable government.

From where? Since more time has passed, France is approaching the next major election moment – the French Presidential election of 2027.

Today, not so popular, Macron is at risk of eaten when the people who associate themselves with him have the chance to vote next time.

As a result, the fragile center-right alliance in the heart of Macron-Land is now being disintegrated.

LR came out, but many centrists are starting to mumble. Former Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, even the President of the President.

If he feels like the twilight of a period, then this is. Sadık is preparing for a world without Macron. May not be too far.
