Nancy Guthrie missing: Former FBI agent describes ‘dark’ search challenges

A former FBI agent was “blown away” when he arrived at Nancy Guthrie’s Arizona home and said “nothing” could have prepared him for how difficult the area appeared to be for investigators racing to find clues in the 84-year-old man’s disappearance.
“[I was] We were literally blown away when we came here this morning to see what this looked like. I saw the drone broadcast about this. I saw our live footage from the past few days. “Nothing can really prepare you for having your boots on the ground,” retired FBI Supervisory Agent James Gagliano told “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday. he said.
Appearing outside the Arizona home early Tuesday morning, Gagliano described the area as “dark” and “serene.”

“The fact that someone could sneak up in the dark, not be seen, or bring a car onto the road with no lights right behind my shoulder… it really took my breath away at how difficult that would be, and it made a lot more sense to me why someone might not have seen anything that night.”
Nancy Guthrie, the mother of NBC “TODAY” co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, disappeared earlier this month.
The FBI told Fox News Digital that no suspect or person in connection with the disappearance has been identified and urged the public to come forward with information.
