No Remains found At Gonkratar As SIT Continues Burial Probe

Barbecue: The special investigation team (SIT), which investigates the alleged hidden burials in Dharmasthala, made a new excavation in Gonkratar, about 2 km from the Temple Town on Friday.

The area on the right side of the Dharmasthala-Kukke Subrahmania Road was previously defined by the notice in the afternoon in the middle of the intense forest. The SIT team immediately launched a search operation until 18.00. However, according to sources, no human remains have been recovered in the field.

SIT was created by the state government after the July 3 complaint from Whistleblower, a former sanitation worker claiming to have been secretly buried in the village of Dharmasthala. Based on the complaint, SIT performed a spot examination and set 13 places for excavation.

The search operation started on July 29 and reported that human remains were found in two places – under a tree near the number 6 and 11 points. These residues were sent for judicial examination.

So far, 12 of the 13 defined areas have been excavated. The 13th location on the roadside near the bathroom Ghat has not yet been excavated. It is believed that radar (GPR) technology, which penetrates the ground for more research in the remaining area, can be used.
