Palani Murugan Temple Records Over Rs 103 Cr Annual Revenue

Dhandayuthapani Temple in Palani, one of Tamil Nadu’s major pilgrimage centres, has recorded its highest annual revenue ever. The temple management said its revenue for the period from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 has crossed Rs 100 billion.
The total income of the temple was Rs 103.24 billion. By comparison, revenue stood at 97.32 billion rupees in the previous year. In the previous two years it was Rs 86.06 billion and Rs 80.62 billion respectively.
On an average, around 1.20 crore devotees visit the temple every year.
The temple provides various welfare services, including free meals (Annadanam), free head shaving, distribution of prasadam and free meal programs for students studying in educational institutions run by the temple administration.
The temple has provided free services worth around Rs 140 million in the last five years, officials said.
The temple management also said that sales of the famous Panchamirtham have reached a record level this year. During the revenue year 1435 devotees acquired Panchamirtham worth Rs 63.16 crore.
