Pawan Completes Promised ₹1-Crore Works in ASR Tribal Villages

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan fulfilled the assurances given to tribal communities during his visit to Ballagaruvu village in Ananthagiri mandal of Alluri Sitarama Raju district by completing development works worth around ₹1 crore in three tribal villages.

The works carried out in Ballagaruvu, Velagapadu and Koraparthi villages include Anganwadi centres, drinking water facilities, CC roads and other civic infrastructures.

During his earlier visit, Pawan Kalyan had interacted with the tribal residents, listened to their complaints and assured them that necessary social facilities would be provided to them.

As part of the initiative, three Anganwadi centers have been constructed at a cost of ₹ 55 lakh under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS). New buildings were constructed at Ballagaruvu and Velagapadu by the Ranchayat raj Engineering department.

In Koraparthi village, the Tribal Welfare Engineering Department constructed a compound wall for the Anganwadi centre, renovated the MPP School, installed a borewell, laid drinking water pipelines and constructed CC roads.

Pawan Kalyan said the coalition government remains committed to comprehensive development of tribal areas by improving infrastructure and welfare initiatives.
