Pedestrian killed in Maida Vale crash

Officers from WA Police’s main crash unit are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian in Perth’s east on Monday afternoon.

Police responded to reports of a serious crash involving a lorry and a pedestrian on Maida Vale Road at around 3.55pm on Monday.

“St John WA attended the scene and provided first aid to the pedestrian, who later died,” a WA Police spokesman said.

The spokesman said the man driving the truck was not injured and was assisting police with their investigations.
