Penrith Panthers coach set to walk away after 2027 season
Penrith coach Ivan Cleary is expected to announce next year will be his last with the NRL club.
In a blow to the Panthers’ chances of retaining some of their biggest names, the four-time championship-winning coach is expected to pursue other opportunities after the 2027 season.
A press conference was held at Panthers headquarters at 14:00.
His son Nathan, arguably the best player in the game, will also be out of contract at the end of 2027.
