Police begin investigations as woman in her 20s found dead in Mullumbimby

A man was arrested after a woman was found dead in North NSW.

Police was called to a unit on Friday night after reports of an indigenous incident on Poinciana Street in Mullumbimby.

The police arrived after 23.55 and found the woman who was believed to be in their 20s in the unit.

The police have not yet been officially defined as the police set up a crime and started investigations.

A 29 -year -old man was arrested at the scene and was taken to the Byron Bay Police Station.
