Police identify 16 more victims of Swiss bar fire

Police said the youngest person was a 14-year-old Swiss girl, while nine others were under 18. Police said that the group included people of Swiss, Italian, Romanian, Turkish and French nationality.
Authorities stated in their statement that the number of people who lost their lives as a result of the fire increased to 24. Eight Swiss citizens were identified on Saturday.
As the criminal investigation continues against the people who ran the Le Constellation bar, the victims’ families endure an agonizing wait for information about their loved ones who are still thought to be missing.
Police said that out of respect for their relatives, no further details would be released about the victims they had identified.
