Things appear to have escalated following a previous inspection at Gossip Grill in March, where county officials reported a “minor” vermin violation.

Officials explained that the regulations require food facilities to be properly constructed, maintained and operated to prevent the introduction and harborage of vermin. Organizations must also keep their buildings clean and pest-free.

The business will need to correct the violation and undergo a follow-up inspection before reopening. It’s unclear how long the popular LGBTQ+-friendly bar will remain closed.

FOX 5/KUSI reached out to the restaurant for comment but was unable to reach it.
