Portland’s downtown decay and homeless crisis ignored by residents

Portland was the perfect code for my visit to Oregon when my phone was lit up while sitting at the airport.

LYFT gave me a complaint that President Trump has been giving money for Russia for decades and that the antifa did not exist, that I had been discriminated against him, because my driver who spent 20 minutes because I didn’t agree with Hectoring School.

The most amazing thing about Portland is not actually how left wing. Everyone saw sections or clips from the TV show “Portlandia”. He is sure that the people there are fine, sometimes they are sure that they pass dead bodies on the sidewalk.

And because they are sure, no one calls Trump supporters not wrong, but immoral.

Tara foul is a Portland -centered photographer who documents homeless addicts in Woebegone’s hometown (and often fed). I was impressed with something he sent to X when I was there.

“At a Portland concert last night, I heard that a man gave a rude experience in our city, a couple ‘like that to every city, brother’.” I was there this year and much cleaner. “

This perfectly summarized the feeling that people in Portland were like a frog in boiling water. Even when the temperature rises, they cannot feel the change.

Jackie, whose family has been living in the region for a century and is as beautiful as possible, said to me, “You are just talking about the city center. The rest of the city is not really.”

Of course, every city has beautiful neighborhoods and neighborhoods that do not have much. But it is what everyone shares in the city center. The face of a city and Rose City seems almost like Dickensian London.

Portland is very fashionable. There, you will see the Natty three -piece suit, handlebar mustaches and the hair colors of such diversity, which seems to be a almost open Skittles bag in large groups.

About a quarter of the stores, empty with my count. The rest is expensive. I am not sure if I have seen a child for four days when I was there, except for a class group in a museum. No life on the ground.

However, after saying all this, at the end of the day, pickles think that most people in Portland are good than I can say – great. And if this is true, then who we are to tell them that they were wrong for the rest of the country?

The warning for every American city comes here. When you surrender the local government to the left and refuse to protect the order, you embrace something like “Blade Runner” in which wealthy and protected develops, where Vagrants stops and dies and everyone remains in hell.

This is how you reach a city because the journalists of the local police dare to address the fact that the streets are given control of the streets. Because in Portland, if you’re a shorter than a determined leftist, you can start feeling a little less than a person.

The message I received from Lyft from Portland Airport replied, saying that I accepted an uncertain complaint against me. Instead, “Your driver taught me about Donald Trump’s evil and was quite rude.”

When I arrived at Dulles and tried to use the Lyft application, no driver would appear for me. I actually laughed – and then I used a different application.

But not actually funny, because social credit systems work like that. If you say something uncomfortable, you may have a bank account or you can’t have a car. And I think, Portlanders, although not many, will in -depth that expressing conservative views deserves the punishment.

I can say that I don’t have a desire to go back to Portland, but with great fear, I can say that I worried that Portland can come to me and all of us.
