Princess Kate shares emotional message after Three Peaks Challenge | Royal | News

Princess Catherine took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message after completing the Three Peaks Challenge this weekend. The Princess conquered three of the biggest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which she said was “so dear” to her.
Princess Catherine was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in early 2024 and underwent six months of chemotherapy. “A lot of people have asked me why I’m doing this challenge, and it’s partly personal. I’m so grateful to be here, to be strong enough to walk these hills. But more importantly, to give something back and really acknowledge all the incredible work that’s being done up and down this country,” he says in a clip on Instagram.
She adds: “I have met some incredible people – people living with and with cancer – and I know personally how difficult the journey is.
“I wanted to use this opportunity as a way of contributing to all the wonderful work that goes on, and in particular to support the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which is very dear to my heart but does outstanding work supporting those living with and without the disease.”
In the comments, royal fans praised the princess.
One person wrote: “Healing words! You are amazing, we love you.”
Another fan wrote: “So many people feel seen. Thank you for sharing and everything you do to make a difference.”
Another said: “Amazing! Your strength, grace and honesty are truly inspiring. Thank you for sharing your journey and reminding us that healing isn’t just about the body, it’s about finding the courage to live fully again.”
“I wish you good health, happiness and many beautiful moments ahead.”
