Pub fire ‘under investigation’ after 60 firefighters tackle blaze | UK | News

Nearly 60 firefighters have been deployed to tackle a raging blaze that has devastated a pub in a London village.
London Fire Brigade sent eight fire trucks to a pub on Heathfield Road in Keston, Bromley.
Emergency services were first notified about the fire that broke out in the family-run village bar at 22.33 on Sunday, April 19th. Crews brought the fire under control at 12:14 on Monday morning.
London Fire Brigade confirmed that at the height of the inferno, the first floor, second floor and roof of the Fox Keston Pub and Dining were engulfed in flames.
One of the brigade’s 32-foot spiral staircases was deployed at the scene as an observation platform to assist firefighters fighting the blaze from above.
Following six emergency calls, crews were mobilized from Biggin Hill, Bromley, Orpington and surrounding fire stations.
An LFB spokesman said after the fire: “Crews will remain at the scene to extinguish any remaining hot spots.
“The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.”
