In a bid to position Rajasthan as a leading destination for investments in the agriculture sector, the State government on Saturday decided to organize a series of roadshows in many cities ahead of the Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM)-2026, scheduled to be held here from May 23-25.

The initiative aims to engage investors, agri-tech firms, research institutions, startups and key stakeholders to drive engagement and attract investment in the agriculture sector. Investors are planned to be reached through roadshows in Jaipur on April 10 and later in New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Pune.

The roadshows will serve as a platform to present the thriving agricultural landscape of Rajasthan, highlight policy support and showcase emerging opportunities in agribusiness, food processing and value-added sectors, Principal Secretary Agriculture Manju Rajpal said here.

“This initiative is also in line with our broader vision of integrating innovation, advanced technologies and digital solutions into agriculture,” Ms. Rajpal said. The roadshows will focus on finding investment potential in the sector, facilitating high-level interactions between potential investors, agritech developers, industry representatives and policy makers.

GRAM-2026 is expected to connect Rajasthan’s agriculture sector with global investment and innovation. Attendees will be given an overview of the highlights of the three-day event, including technical sessions, workshops, exhibitions, smart farm and livestock showcases and exclusive investment dialogues.

The previous edition of GRAM was held in Jaipur in 2016-17. The upcoming edition is expected to witness the participation of around 75,000 farmers from Rajasthan, over 250 exhibitors and over 100 companies from India and abroad.

Delegations from regions such as South Asia, Europe, Australia, North and South America are also likely to attend. Ms. Rajpal said GRAM-2026 will accelerate the adoption of modern agricultural technologies, promote innovation-led growth and contribute to sustainable agricultural development to increase farmers’ incomes.
