Ryder Cup: Scottie Scheffler to put $500,000 payment ‘to good use in community’

Scheffler, the first US players speaking with the media on Tuesday, said BBC Sport had plans for money, but would not share the detail.

“My wife and I like to do a lot in our local community, and I’m not someone to announce what we’re doing.” He said.

“I don’t want to give a benevolent dollar for some kind of recognition. We have something planned for the money we will get.

“I think it’s really great that the American PGA makes us do us.

“I have a deep passion for the city of Dallas, I have a deep passion for the organizations we support at home, and I’m excited to get this money and do some good in our local community.”

Scheffler’s view was repeated by Patrick Cantlay, a series of charitable foundations.

“One of the most beautiful things about this team events is always a great philanthropic component, so I will forgive the money,” he said.

“I hope someone who grows in Southern California will have this opportunity and can follow his dreams.”

Cantlay was at the center of a background to protest the lack of personal payment – in 2023, in the last Ryder Cup in Rome.

In December, PGA Of America said, “No player wanted to be compensated for playing in Ryder Cup, and Cantlay reiterated his stance,” We’re fine, so we’re fine this year.

Bradley said that the new payments reflect what happened in the Presidents Cup-ABD and Ryder Cup-style match between an out-of-European international team.

And he defended Cantlay’s decision to put a hat in Rome and told BBC Sport: “We exploded this disproportionate.

Meanwhile, Xander Schauffele will donate extra $ 200,000 to the aid organization.

“This is something that makes me feel good about what I do as selfishly,” he said.

“If we can impress some local communities and charities, I think this should be.”
