Sajjanar Issues Notice to RS Praveen Kumar Over Criminal Cases Allegation

Hyderabad: Hyderabad police commissioner VC Sajjanar, who heads the Special Investigation Team into phone tapping cases, on Friday issued a statement seeking evidence from BRS leader and former IPS officer RS ​​Praveen Kumar regarding the allegations he had made earlier in the day.

Praveen Kumar had claimed that the SIT chief was facing seven criminal cases. Sajjanar asked him to submit complete and specific details of criminal cases allegedly registered against the SIT chief within two days from the date of receipt of the notice.

If this is not done, Sajjanar said appropriate civil and criminal proceedings will be initiated against Kumar in accordance with the law.
