Seven dead as landslide hits mud house in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch
Jammu: Seven people died when their houses collapsed due to landslide in Jammu and Kashmir’s rain-hit Poonch district on Monday, officials said.
The incident took place in the higher parts of Loran village. Authorities said that the house hit by the landslide was made of mud.

The rescue operation continues. It was stated that four of the seven people killed were women.
Poonch has been affected by heavy rains since Saturday evening. Seventeen people have been killed, including seven on Loran, and six remain missing.
