Seven Yellow Anacondas Born At Odisha’s Nandankanan Zoo

BHUBANESWAR: Nature lovers have a new reason to visit the Zoology Park of Odisha in Bhubaneswar, because the famous wildlife shelter welcomed the reptile curvature on Sunday – a rare and exciting annex that emphasizes the reputation of the zoo as a paradise for exotic species.

Small puppies were born in October 2019, a pair of yellow anacdaa brought to Nandankanan from Madras Trust Trust in Chennai. With these new arrivals, it is now hosting a family that consists of 14 yellow anaconds with pride – two adult male, two adults and ten juuvenils. And the excitement is not over yet. Another tooth is expected to be born soon and contributes to an anxious show.

Sanat Kumar, Director of Nandankan Zoo, said, “Newborns were kept under close observation at a special quarantine facility to ensure their welfare in these important early days.

The zoo, which recognizes the need to meet its population in the growing Anaconda, launched plans to raise and expand the existing enclosure, and created a better habitat that better reflects the domestic, scientificly known as Eunectes Notaeus – scientifically known as Eunectes Notaeus. In the wild nature, these non -powerful restrictions can grow up to 14 feet, but those under captivity typically reach about 10 feet lengths.

Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil and the surrounding wetlands, yellow anacodas are semi-Quatic snakes, most of their time to swamps, rivers and flooded forests. The zoo carefully replicated these natural conditions and provided a habitat that encouraged their health, reproduction and long life.

“This successful reproduction does not only mark a milestone for the zoo, but also emphasizes the vital role of modern zoos in the protection and work of exotic, less well-known species. For visitors and wildlife enthusiasts, it is a rare opportunity to witness these difficult creatures-and perhaps the next generation of the next generation of Anakonds.
