The Cleveland Browns entered last season with one of the NFL’s most crowded quarterback rooms.
Shedeur Sanders took over at quarterback in Week 12 of last season and, after making two more starts, was named the starter for the remainder of the season. Sanders’ move to the fifth round in the 2025 Draft paved the way for him to become one of the most scrutinized rookies in recent memory.
Few people know Shedeur’s game better than his father and former college coach, Deion Sanders. On Wednesday, the two-time Super Bowl champion reflected on his son’s rookie season.

I don’t care what the pass rush is, (DB) has to do his job. It’s a little different with a quarterback. “A few things have to go right for it to be successful.”
