Rishi Sunak announces first major position since losing election

Goldman Sachs appointed former Prime Minister Rishi Altak as a senior advisor.
The role, which will see that Mr. Altak returned to Goldman 21 years later, is his first major position since last year’s general election defeat as the leadership of the Conservative Party.
The altar, which is the prime minister between October 2022 and July 2024, will give advice to leaders throughout the company and will give information about macroeconomic and geopolitical landscapes ”.
Between 2001 and 2004, Richmond and Northallerton worked for Goldman Sachs.
The appointment has come a little more than a year since Mr. Altak resigned as Prime Minister and allows him to take his consultancy position.

However, the ACOBA (Business Appointments Advisory Committee) organ, which regulates the business appointments of the deputies, said that the altar could not lobby the government or use the ministry contacts for a year to safely influence politics or business advantage.
It also limited a year of advice on issues related to foreign governments or dominant reserve funds.
President and General Manager David Solomon said: “As a senior advisor, I am excited to invite Rishi to Goldman Sachs in his new capacity.
“In the role, the company will work together with leaders throughout the company to give advice to our customers globally globally, and share its unique perspectives and opinions about macroeconomic and geopolitical landscapes.
“Also, he will spend time with our people around the world by contributing to our culture of continuous learning and development.”
Earlier this year, he worked with former Prime Minister Oxford University and Stanford University.
