Watch: Italian Plane Crashes On Highway; Mechanical Failure Suspected As Two Killed | World News

A tragic aviation accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon, when a small ultra light aircraft turned into a large fireball and killed both passengers on the A21 Cordamolle Osspital highway near Brescia.
The victims were described as 75 -year -old Milan -based lawyer and pilot Sergio Ravaglia and his partner Anna Maria de Stefano.
Eyewitnesses, before collapsing on the busy motorway, the plane came out of control and the sky fills the thick, black smoke caused a large explosion.
Dashcam and CCTV images caught a scary moment, which was missing several vehicles before the Freccia RG plane exploded into the flames. After two drivers were subjected to injuries, one was taken to hospital with burns and the other received treatment at the scene.

Emergency intervention teams, including firefighters and medical officials, ran to the site within a few minutes. When the crew came, the plane was already in flames. As the authorities block the region and began to clean the debris, traffic was stopped for hours on both sides of the highway.
Built from carbon fiber, an Italian -made ultra light airplane, Freccia RG has a wing opening of about 30 feet. Aviation experts from the Italian National Flight Safety Agency were sent to Brescia to assist the investigation. Meanwhile, the Public Prosecutor’s Office launched a manslaughter investigation that focuses on the maintenance records of the aircraft and the mechanical situation of the aircraft.
