Prime Minister Narendra Modi urges peace in Manipur, unveils projects worth over ₹7,300 crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who called on various clothes to violence, claimed that the government was with the Manipur people on Saturday, September 13, 2025 and wanted to make the state a symbol of peace and prosperity.

After the first visit to the state after the beginning of ethnic violence in May 2023, Mr. Modi, who addressed a public meeting in the Kuki Judge Churachandpur region, said that the continuous efforts of the center caused negotiations between the two -fighting party.

“It is unfortunate to have violence here. Today, I want to promise that the Indian Government is with you and that I am with you,” he said.

“I would address all groups and organizations to choose the path of peace,” he added.

Mr. Modi said that peace is very important for development and that the center is determined to achieve it.

The authority said that the center has increased budget allocation for railway and road connection projects in the province.

“I have given a special stress on improving the connection in Manipur since 2014,” he said.

“India will soon be the third largest economy in the world, and I want to ensure that development fruits reach every corner of the country.”

Greeting Manipur as a country of courage and courage, the Prime Minister said he would never forget the love he received from Imphal to Churachandpur.

“I talked to the displaced people and I can say that Manipur was looking at a new dawn. People chose the path of peace.” He said.

Mr. Modi said that the projects he announced here will improve people’s lives in terms of infrastructure and health services.

7,300 CRORE VALUE PROJECTS ANNOUNCED

“Recently, projects worth 7,300 Crore from this multi -platform have been announced. These projects will further improve the lives of the Manipur people, especially the tribal communities living on the hills.” He said.

These projects include Manipur urban roads, drainage and asset management improvement attempt La 3.647 Crore and Manipur Infotech Development (Mind) project is worth 550 Crore.

It also laid the foundation of nine working women’s hostels worth 142 Crore, and super specialization and health facilities to be developed in 105 Crore.

Modi provided the basic stones of development development in and around the Polo Ground and its surroundings in Crore and strengthened the facilities of 120 schools with 134 Crore costs in 16 regions.

Various projects related to rural connections, education and tourism in some parts of Manipur, which is a total value of 102 Crore, are included in the list of initiatives in which cornerstones are thrown.

In the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex in Imphal, the construction of a multi -purpose closed stadium with La Cro and the upgrade of NH 102 A in Tengnoupal sections worth 502 Crore was also included.
