The Ramco Cements Q3 net profit jumps 2-fold to ₹385.63 cr, revenue up 6% | Company Results

Ramco Cements Ltd on Monday reported that its consolidated net profit more than doubled year-on-year to ₹385.63 crore in the December quarter of the financial year, helped by improvement in cement prices and operational efficiency.
According to The Ramco Cements’ regulatory filing, the company posted a net profit of ₹181.58 crore in the October-December quarter of the previous financial year.
Revenue from operations rose 6.16 per cent to ₹2,105.68 crore in the December quarter of FY26. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, this figure stood at 1,983.45 crore.
“Cement sales volume increased from 4.28 million tonnes in the third quarter of FY25 to 4.43 million tonnes in the third quarter of FY26, with a growth of 4 per cent,” the company said in its earnings statement.
The construction chemicals business recorded a sales volume of 1.54 lakh tonnes for 3FY26 compared to 0.86 lakh tonnes in 3FY25, registering a growth of 79 per cent.
“Overall sales volume for the current quarter increased by 5 per cent compared to 3FY25. Cement capacity utilization stood at 73 per cent in 3FY26 compared to 75 per cent in 3FY25.” he said.
Moreover, in Q1FY26 Ramco Cements “made a profit of ₹506 crore on sale of land”.
It recorded a loss of ₹27 crore under the exemption item due to implementation of new labor laws.
“Accordingly, profit before tax after exceptional items for 3FY26 stood at ₹486 crore,” he said.
The Ramco Cements’ total expenses in the December quarter increased by 6.38 per cent to ₹2,118.79 crore.
“Net debt as on 31-12-2025 was ₹4,145 crore while it was ₹4,481 crore as on 31-3-2025. Cost of debt stands at 7.89 per cent in 3FY25 as against 7.10 per cent in 3FY26.” he said.
Shares of Ramco Cements Ltd closed at Rs 1,203.65 on the BSE on Monday, up 3.75 percent from the previous close.
