Telangana CEO, Hyderabad DEO Inspect Voter Enumeration and Digitisation Progress
Hyderabad: Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C. Sudharshan Reddy reviewed SIR-2026 related activities in Serilingampally constituency on Sunday. He was accompanied by Rangareddy district collector Narayana Reddy and Seriligampally district commissioner Narayan Amit Malempati of Cyberabad Municipal Corporation.
Officials reviewed the counting process with emphasis on accuracy, timely completion and ensuring effective coordination at the field level. In order to complete the process successfully, the authorities were instructed to expedite the remaining work.
Elswehere, Hyderabad district election officer (DEO) GHMC commissioner RV Karnan inspected the distribution and digitization process of counting forms in Nampally, Chandrayangutta and Bahadurpura Assembly segments.
Karnan also reviewed the progress of field level activities, interacted with assistant election registrars (AEROs), booth level officers (BLOs) and their superiors and assessed the speed and quality of digitization of forms collected from voters.
The DEO instructed the election authorities to expedite digitization by focusing on accuracy and quality and ensure timely completion of all activities as per the Election Commission of India (ECI) schedule.
