The Mega Star reveals his name as ‘KSS Varaprasad Rao’ as he was born as Konidela Siva Shankara Varaprasad on 22 August 1955. Since his mother was a devoted follower of Hanuman, she advised him to take the screen name ‘Chiranjeevi’, meaning immortal, as Hanuman is believed to be one of the seven Chiranjeevi in ​​Indian mythology. In the viral 10th class certificate, his grades are not visible, only his personal details are visible.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Chiranjeevi’s next release is Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, starring Nayanthara. The Anil Ravipudi directorial is expected to release in theaters during Pongal 2026 festivities. He has also lined up the much-awaited fantasy action film Vishwambhara to release next.
