The family of a sophomore at Texas A&M said they are “still waiting for answers” after the woman was found dead near campus after attending a football game.

According to local news station KBTXThe Austin Police Department said Brianna Aguilera died just before 1 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, hours after tailgating Texas A&M’s football game against the University of Texas.

Aguilera’s family told the press that they were “looking for answers” regarding her death and were aware of the fact that she was only tailgating.

According to GoFundMe, Aguilera graduated from United High School in Laredo, Texas, where she was a Magna Cum Lade cheerleader. The fundraiser said the young woman was “pursuing her dream of becoming a lawyer and attending the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M.”

“His dream was always to be an AGGIE!” his family said.
