Police Arrest Suspect in Mysamma Temple Vandalism

Hyderabad: Police on Friday arrested a suspect in the case registered at Kamatipura police station for vandalism at Mysamma Temple near Puranapool Darwaza.

The incident involved damage to the flexible banner and PoP idol stored in the temple veranda. The police took swift action and tracked down and caught the suspect within 24 hours of the incident.

Police officials said that the suspect was interrogated and the investigation continues to collect additional evidence regarding the incident.

A press release issued by DCP Rajendranagar on Friday stated that the operation was carried out under the direct supervision of Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar.
