Three from Medak drown in Siddipet’s Haldi Vagu

Three youths from Medak district drowned after entering deep water near a temple in Haldi Vagu in Siddipet district. Allegedly, none of the three knew how to swim.
The deceased were identified as Yerragolla Prasanth Yadav (27), K. Vikas (26) and K. Anand Reddy (27), residents of Narsapur town of Medak district.
According to Gajwel Circle Inspector (CI) Ravi Raju, the trio went to Toopran on Wednesday to attend a wedding ceremony. Later in the evening, around 5.30 pm, they visited the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Nacharam and dared to enter the nearby Haldi Vagu and drowned.
The incident came to light later at night, and authorities identified the victims from documents found in a car parked by the stream. Rescuers recovered the bodies on Thursday morning.
A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
