Three people are arrested on suspicion of spying for Russia

Three people were arrested on suspicion of espionage for Russia.
The arrests took place in ESSEX as a part of a counter -terrorism policy investigation into suspicious National Security Law crimes.
A 41 -year -old male and 35 -year -old woman was arrested at an address in Grays, Essex.
A 46 -year -old man was arrested with a separate address in the Grays region of Essex.
All three were taken to a police station in London, unlike the third of the 2023 National Security Law (NSA).
Met police said that Russia is the country where the allegations are interested in.
Dominic Murphy, the head of the terrorism commander, said: ‘We see the number of’ deputies’ hired by foreign intelligence services through our last national security cases.
