It looked pretty bleak for a while. Clayton Kershaw was stuck watching the Blue Jays try to complete the victory over the Dodgers that would end their 32-year World Series title drought. Instead, Max Muncy, Miguel Rojas and Will Smith quickly turned the game around.
Kershaw ended his career with his third championship ring, as his next stop was Cooperstown and he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. He called out to his teammates in the locker room just before the champagne started popping.
“It’s such an honor to be in this clubhouse with you. I love each and every one of you,” he said. “I can’t think of a better way to go out than popping bottles with this group of guys. We’re back-to-back champions!”

Rogers Center was buzzing early in the game. Blue Jays fans were waiting for something spectacular to happen, and they got it. Bo Bichette, who was recovering from a knee injury, gave the Blue Jays the lead by hitting a three-run home run in the third inning.
Bichette was 2-for-4 before manager John Schneider homered for him later in the game.

3). Andy Pages catches Enrique Hernandez
Blue Jays third baseman Ernie Clement loaded the bases and had a chance to join Joe Carter in the organization’s lore. Clement took a step toward left-center field.
Enrique Hernandez was tracking the ball but needed to make an over-the-head catch to end the inning. Instead midfielder Andy Pages came on and caught the ball over Hernandez. Pages pressed on to land Hernandez, and that kept Los Angeles’ hopes alive.
2). Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s magic 2+ hits

The Dodgers called on Yamamoto to help his team get out of a jam in the bottom of the ninth, a night after he pitched six innings in the Dodgers’ Game 6 win.
Yamamoto entered the game for Blake Snell and was able to end the bases-loaded threat. He then shutout Toronto in the 10th and 11th innings to seal the deal. He won three games in the World Series and was named World Series MVP.
