Grammy Awards host Trevor Noah targeted Donald Trump and Nicki Minaj in his speech at the magnificent awards ceremony.
Following the opening performance of Bruno Mars and Rose’s hit song APT, Noah noted that Minaj, who recently visited the White House and voiced her support for US President Trump, was “not here.” Daily Star reports.
He explained: “Nicki Minaj is not here, she is not here, she is still in the White House. Donald Trump Actually, we are discussing very important issues.
Imitating the president, she joked: “‘Nicki, I’ve got the biggest a**, I’ve got it, everybody says it Nicki, I know what they tell you, but it’s me, whoa, whoa, whoa, look at that, look at that, baby.’
Noah also talked about the release of the Epstein papers.
He stated: “The one and only Miss Lauryn Hill will be performing on that stage tonight, which is crazy when you think about it because the last time Lauryn Hill performed at the Grammys was 1999, do you understand how long ago that was?
“In 1999, the president had a sex scandal, people thought computers were about to destroy the world, and (P)Diddy got arrested.

“Boy, how times have changed.”
Citing the celebrity-studded audience that included Kendrick Lamar, Tyler The Creator, Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga, Noah said he felt like he was attending Amazon chief Jeff Bezos’ wedding “but with a lot more people of color.”
This follows protests by artists against US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) personnel deployed on red carpets in American cities.
Musicians Joni Mitchell and Kehlani, along with Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, were among the stars carrying “Ice out” and “Be Good” pins at the ceremony.
Kehlani, 30, condemned Ice in her acceptance speech after receiving her first Grammy for best R&B performance for Folded. He said: “I hope everyone is inspired to come together as a community of artists and speak out against what’s going on. Damn Ice.”

Vernon, 44, whose band Bon Iver was nominated for the best alternative music album award, said he wore the whistle to honor legal observers who documented the activities of federal agents on the streets.
“I think music exists for a reason: to heal and to bring people together,” he told The Associated Press. “But the real work is the observers on the ground in Minneapolis. We just want to shout them out.”
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) personnel have been deployed in American cities as part of Mr. Trump’s mass deportation program, particularly in Minnesota and Minneapolis, where about 2,000 people have been deployed.
Officers faced fierce condemnation for their heavy-handed tactics; Ice agents recently shot and killed two people on the streets of Minneapolis: Renee Good on January 7 and Alex Pretti on January 24.
