US President Donald Trump was taken to a safe location after suspicious gunshots were heard while senior officials were attending an annual dinner on Saturday evening. The US President was enjoying a dinner of black-tie White House correspondents at the Washington Hilton when he was interrupted by a commotion.

Loud explosions were heard, prompting the Secret Service to rush in and escort the president away from the venue while calling for “stay down, stay down.” While the participants were squatting, other high-ranking officials were escorted out of the building.

It’s unclear what happened, but there don’t appear to be any injuries.
