Trump rushed from White House correspondents’ dinner after suspected gunshots heard

US President Donald Trump was taken to a safe place after suspected gunshots were heard from the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

The President and First Lady Melania Trump were in the middle of a speech at the Washington Hilton when they were interrupted by a commotion at the White House table.

Loud explosions were heard, and then various members of the secret service escorted the president away from the venue, calling for “stay down, stay down.”
