President Donald Trump said on Monday that Russian President Vladimir Putin has reached a peace agreement with Ukraine, or that Moscow has faced great “secondary tariffs” in trade partners.
Il I was disappointed in President Putin, Tr Trump said in Scotland with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer before a dual meeting with the European leader.
“I will reduce the 50 days I have given him to a less number.” Trump said. He said.
He didn’t share this new number. The White House did not respond immediately to CNBC’s additional information request.
Trump determined this deadline on July 14, saying that if there was no cease -fire agreement with Ukraine until September, Russian export buyers would encounter tariffs.
Trump once refrained from criticizing Putin, but in recent months, Russia announced his frustrations because the Ukrainian invasion has been intensified.
