Trump sends one hour Iran nuke warning – ‘we will not allow that to happen’ | US | News

US President Donald Trump claimed that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon, and that if it did, it would only take an hour to use it.

The United States and Iran found themselves in the middle of a conflict following joint U.S.-Israeli attacks on several key regions of Iran on February 28 that have shaken global markets, affected air travel and caused widespread disruptions across the Middle East.

According to Al Jazeera, Trump’s comments came at a time when negotiations between Israel and Lebanon were still ongoing and Washington continued to facilitate negotiations.

According to Al Jazeera, Trump said: “We had to take action against Iran because Iran’s possession of nuclear weapons would mean the destruction of Israel and the Middle East and endanger the world.

“Iran will not have nuclear weapons and has accepted that 100 percent.

“If Iran had a nuclear weapon, they would use it within the first hour, but we will not allow it.”

After months of conflict, the United States and Iran reached a peace deal that included the reopening of the critical Strait of Hormuz and a promise to get rid of Iran’s enriched uranium reserves that could be used to develop nuclear weapons.

On June 17, the United States and Iran signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to end the war within 60 days.

Washington and Tehran are currently trying to broker a long-term peace deal to end the war, restore global shipping in the crucial Strait of Hormuz, and resolve the ongoing dispute over Tehran’s nuclear program.

Many believe the agreement shows the United States making significant concessions to Iran, including maintaining its ballistic missiles, but the United States has managed to prevent the development of Iran’s nuclear weapon.

The important points of the agreement are as follows:
