Two Fishermen Hurt as Gas Cylinder Explodes in Boat

According to Thondangi police, four fishermen from Yellaiahpeta village of Thondangi mandal of Kakinada district went to sea in a fishing boat. While preparing food on the ship, a gas cylinder suddenly exploded and two people were injured. Two other fishermen jumped into the sea to escape the flames. Fishermen on another boat following them noticed the incident and immediately rushed to help. They rescued all four fishermen and brought them safely to shore.

The two injured fishermen were taken to Kakinada Government Hospital and received treatment. Police are investigating the cause of the explosion.
