England’s hut judges of the year appeared after exploding. In the 19th year of the Cuprinol hut of the year, the winners of 2025 were captivated by smart designs and eye -catching club features. Many British households have a club in the backyard of the people and for most people, a space for storage in the corner of the garden. However, some people see more of their huts.
Some have designed a club that does not fit well to their gardens, but also became a central part of the aesthetics of the garden. One of these people is Plumstead, who won the cuprinol hut of this year, and Mike Robinson, an engineer from Southeast London.. The structure he said ‘Tiny Workshop ‘was chosen as the general winner after being elected as the winner. Workshop/Studio Category. The impressive club is even built in the use of spaces and was built by Mike using two sets of heavy service type steel shelves.
It was then bolted to each other and covered with wild thyme and emerald stone lines along the complex structure with wood painted in a black ash shade. In the design, there are two wings that are opened to cover the top and bottom, providing one floor and rain protection.
It also has a green roof that hangs smart to store garden tools and meet the nature into the garden. Smart design allows it to perform more than one task, including a vehicle, workshop and storage space. Mike said the award -winning hut: “I think a small workshop has worked with a treatment. It is a creative area where I can have a storage space for garden materials, children’s games and vehicles.
“I have designed brackets with 3D printers for old key handles – they are useful and give a clue about what is inside. The Green Roof is also impatient to see that it will come to itself next year and I can’t wait to see that it is implemented – the gift that really continues to give to the club.”
Mike won a general award for the hut of the year and a series of awards were given. Here is the full list of the winners from this year’s competition:
Budget: Kate Jenkins – Beach Cut at the Better of the Garden
Unexpected/unique: Anne Meadows – Far Meadow Cabinet
EKO-HAVEN: Alexandra Foxley -wood – drawing hut
PUB & Entertainment: Ben Davies – Cushty’s

Andrew Wilcox, the founder and chief judge of the Cuprinol Sed of the year, commented: This year’s winning competition takes the simple but effective thing back to the roots of defense.
“Traditionally, huts are seen as a place to store your vehicles, or perhaps seen as a potter and a place to play – ‘Little Workshop’ takes this seemingly basic concept and becomes so inspiring, but still turns into something very practical, and as we have seen in the history of this contest, it really turns into anything.
“I hope Mike can inspire Sheddies for the next years and enter the 20th cuprinol hut of the year in 2026.”
