US says it has completed its latest wave of strikes on Iran

WASHINGTON, July 13 (Reuters) – The U.S. military said late on Monday that its forces had completed the latest wave of strikes against Iran, which U.S. Central Command had begun at the behest of President Donald Trump earlier in the day.
• During the five-hour mission, US forces successfully struck military targets across Iran, including Bushehr, Chah Bahar, Jask, Konarak, Abu Musa, and Bandar Abbas,” Central Command told X. he said.
• It marked the third consecutive night of attacks against Iran as Trump said he would reinstate the blockade of Iranian ships while offering to charge a 20% fee to protect the Strait of Hormuz.
• Iran’s top joint military command said the United States had no role in determining the waterway’s future and would not be allowed to intervene.
• Iran announced over the weekend that it would close the vital waterway.
• The Iran war started with the intervention of “USA”. Israel attacked Iran on February 28, and Iran responded with its own attacks on Israel and the Gulf states that host US bases.
• During the war, US-Israeli attacks on Iran and Israeli attacks on Lebanon resulted in the deaths of thousands and the displacement of millions.
• The war also increased oil prices and shook markets around the world.
