Veterinarians Have Key Role To Play In India’s Economic Growth: RSS Chief Bhagwat

What happened? Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) president Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday said veterinarians will play an important role in the country’s economic growth and urged them to broaden their perspectives beyond traditional responsibilities.

Emphasizing coexistence, he said humans, animals and nature must live in harmony, and society needs to seriously deliberate on how to ensure balanced coexistence.

Bhagwat was speaking at the ‘Role of Dogs in One Health: Building Partnerships and Solving Challenges National Symposium’ jointly organized by the Indian Association for the Advancement of Canine Practice and the Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU).
