Heavy Inflows Into Srisailam Continue
Kurnak: Heavy entrances to Srisailam reservoir continue from Jurala and Sunkesula projects. On Sunday, the project received 1,78,101 Cusec. To regulate water levels, irrigation officials released 1,77,936 Cusec with three Radial Crest gates. The reservoir is currently holding 196.56 TMCFT water according to the 215.80 TMCFT full reservoir level (FRL).
According to the authorities, 40,059 Cusec from the reservoir Jurala, 42,048 Cusec and Sunkesula Project are receiving 35,200 Cusecs from the Dolulavak. On the release side, 30,000 Cusec is directed to the Pothyreddypadu head organizer, the channels 32,425 Cusec, the right power center 30,492 Cusec and the left bank power center 35.315 Cusec is directed to Cusec. In addition, 79.704 Cusec is discharged via full -witch -ware.
Meanwhile, the Sundaysula Dam receives 51,000 Cusec and 51.812 Cusec discharged. As of 19:00 on Sunday, the dam had a 70 percent storage area and held 0.84 TMCFT against 1.20 TMCFT FRL.
